Diagnosing electrical faults on vehicles often means measuring current draw without the hassle of breaking into a circuit. The Sealey TA310 Current Clamp solves this by clamping around individual wires to measure both AC and DC current accurately and safely. With a 12mm clamp jaw suited to individual vehicle wiring, it offers two measurement ranges 20A and 80A giving you the flexibility to test a wide range of vehicle components in situ. It connects directly to a standard multimeter via 4mm banana connectors, or can be used with an oscilloscope with a suitable BNC conversion adaptor. A 9V battery is supplied, with a typical alkaline battery life of 80 hours, and an LED indicator warns you when the battery is running low. Operating temperature range is 0°C to 50°C. Supplied in a protective storage pouch. Dimensions: 190mm x 70mm x 38mm. Weight: 240g.
