The Draper Expert 41967 auto-ranging digital clamp meter addresses this by offering both auto and manual ranging across an extensive set of electrical parameters, including voltage, current, resistance, diode testing, continuity, capacitance, frequency, duty cycle and temperature — making it a comprehensive single-instrument solution for workshop and site use. The clamp jaw accepts conductors up to 36mm in diameter, allowing non-contact AC and DC current measurement without breaking a circuit. AC and DC current ranges extend to 600A, AC voltage to 600V, and DC voltage to 600mV through 600V. Resistance measurement spans from 6000Ω up to 60MΩ across six ranges, while capacitance covers nine ranges up to 99.99mF. Frequency measurement reaches 10MHz, and temperature testing operates from -50°C to 1000°C via the included temperature probe. A backlit LCD screen ensures legibility in low-light conditions, complemented by a built-in inspection light. The linear bar graph function gives real-time analogue-style visual feedback alongside the digital readout, useful when monitoring fluctuating signals. Auto power-off helps conserve battery life during busy working sessions. The meter measures 228mm x 158mm x 58mm and weighs approximately 400g. It is supplied complete with test leads, temperature probe, carry case and three AAA batteries.
