The Draper Expert 41864 manual-ranging digital clamp meter addresses this by combining auto and manual ranging in a single instrument, allowing technicians to select the precision that the task requires. The clamp meter measures AC voltage across five ranges (200mV, 2V, 20V, 200V and 600V), DC voltage across the same five ranges, and AC current at 2A, 20A, 200A and 600A. Resistance measurement covers six ranges from 200Ω up to 20MΩ. Beyond these core electrical measurements, the instrument also performs diode and continuity testing, capacitance measurement, frequency, duty cycle and temperature testing, making it a genuinely versatile diagnostic tool for workshop and site use. The jaw opens to a maximum diameter of 36mm to accommodate most conductor sizes encountered in automotive and light industrial environments. A backlit LCD screen with linear bar graph function ensures clear readings in low-light conditions, and a built-in inspection light adds further practicality in confined spaces. Auto power off protects battery life. The unit weighs approximately 480g and measures 228mm × 156mm × 62mm.
