Diagnosing electrical faults on vehicle components often means measuring current draw without breaking into a circuit. The Sealey TA305 AC/DC Clamp Metre and Multimeter is designed for the automotive electrician and allows you to measure current draw from vehicle components in situ using its 10mm clamp jaw. Conforming to EN 61010 CAT III 600V, it measures AC and DC voltage, AC and DC current up to 100A, resistance, audible continuity, and performs diode tests. AC voltage accuracy is ±1.2% at 400mV and 4V ranges, and ±1.5% at 40V, 400V and 600V ranges. DC voltage accuracy is ±0.8% at 400mV and ±1.0% at 4V, 40V, 400V and 600V ranges. AC and DC current accuracy is ±2.5% at both 40A and 100A ranges. Input impedance is 10MΩ and frequency range is 40Hz to 400Hz. Supplied in a pouch.
