The Draper Expert 41911 Auto-Ranging Digital Clamp Meter addresses that need with both auto and manual ranging capability, allowing technicians to measure voltage, current, resistance, diode function, continuity, capacitance, frequency, duty cycle and temperature from a single handheld unit. The clamp mechanism accommodates conductors up to 36mm in jaw-opening diameter, making it suitable for a broad range of cable and busbar sizes encountered in automotive and workshop environments. A backlit LCD screen ensures clear reading in low-light conditions, complemented by a built-in inspection light for working in confined spaces. An auto power-off function preserves battery life during busy workshop sessions. AC current is measurable across four ranges — 4A, 40A, 400A and 600A — while both AC and DC voltage ranges run from 400mV through to 600V. Resistance measurement spans 400Ω up to 40MΩ across six ranges, and capacitance covers 5nF to 200µF. Frequency measurement extends from 10Hz to 10MHz, and the temperature range runs from -20°C to 1000°C. The unit weighs approximately 488g and measures 230mm x 156mm x 62mm. Supplied complete with test leads, a temperature probe and a protective carry case. Note that three AAA batteries are required for operation and are not included.
