The Sealey SM3002 is a precision built metalworking lathe designed for the small workshop, professional or home engineer, and model maker. Powered by a 300W, 230V motor, it offers a variable speed reversible drive with a spindle speed range of 100-2500rpm, and includes a powered cutting facility for both right and left-hand threads via a metric lead screw. The working envelope covers 300mm between centres, a centre height of 90mm, a maximum workpiece diameter of 180mm, a spindle bore of 20mm, and spindle and tailstock tapers of MT3 and MT2 respectively. Overall dimensions are 830 x 300 x 300mm. The machine is supplied complete with a self-centring 3-jaw chuck, 4-way tool post, swarf tray, rear splash guard, emergency stop button, and chuck guard. An optional stand is available order model SM3002ST.
