Constructed from ultra heavy-duty cast iron, the carriage is built to match the robustness of the host machine. A quick release carriage clamp allows for fast, secure workpiece positioning, while a versatile 1mtr adjustable cross-cut stop provides repeatable length control across a variety of workpiece sizes. Pre-set stops at 90° and 45° further streamline the cutting process, removing the need to re-measure for the most common cross-cut angles.
With an overall capacity of 8ft x 4ft (2.4mtr x 1.2mtr) and an adjustable cross-cut stop reaching 1mtr, the 01447 is specifically suited to workshop professionals and trade operators who regularly process full-sheet timber panels on the SIP 01446. The single-pass capability reduces handling time and improves throughput on high-volume cutting tasks.
