The SIP 01505 12" (305mm) Sliding Compound Mitre Saw with Laser is a powerful, versatile and accurate woodcutting saw rated at 1.8kW (2.4hp), designed for professional woodworking workshops, domestic or commercial premises and DIY uses. Its belt-driven motor delivers smoother handling and quieter operation compared with direct-drive alternatives, making it equally well suited to busy trade environments and home workshops alike.
The 305mm 40TCT saw blade handles larger workpieces and performs deeper cuts, while a sliding mechanism extends the width of the cutting range beyond that of a fixed-head machine. An adjustable depth-cut setting enables tenoning and trenching tasks, and a laser guide indicates the blade cutting path for greater accuracy during layout-critical work. Compound functionality allows the head to tilt both left and right to deliver double bevel cuts in addition to mitre cuts, with the bevel range adjustable up to 45° in both directions and the mitre gauge covering -45° / 0° / +45°. A heavy-duty rotating table features pre-set mitre stops and a clamp for securing workpieces, and a slow-start industrial grip-and-trigger power handle contributes to controlled start-up. An automatic retracting lower blade guard and a dust collection bag for reducing sawdust and debris in the work area complete the safety and housekeeping provision.
Full compound cutting capacities are: straight 330mm x 105mm; mitre (45° x 0°) 230mm x 105mm; left bevel (0° x 45°) 330mm x 60mm; right bevel (0° x 45°) 230mm x 33mm; left compound mitre (45° x 45°) 230mm x 60mm; right compound mitre (45° x 45°) 230mm x 33mm. The blade bore size is 30mm, blade speed is 3,800rpm, and blade thickness compatibility spans 1.8mm minimum to 2.8mm maximum. Input supply is 230V (13A). The robust cast steel base provides stability in operation, and the tool is bench-top or work-frame mountable with a carry handle for transporting between sites.
