The SIP 01446 is a 12-inch professional cast iron table saw designed for demanding woodworking workshops that require consistent, versatile cutting performance. Powered by a 3kW (4hp) induction motor running on a 230V (16A) single-phase supply, it delivers the heavy-duty capability needed for ripping, cross cutting, mitre cutting, bevelling, and sheet preparation across a full range of timber sizes.
At the heart of the machine is a 305mm (12") TCT rise and fall blade with a 30mm bore, running at 4000rpm and fitted with a blade lock for fine precision work. The arbor tilts from 0° to 45° to the left, giving a maximum depth of cut of 100mm at 90° and 80mm at 45°. The quick-adjustment rip fence with Quick-Lock micro adjustment ensures accurate, repeatable cuts, complemented by a T-slotted heavy-duty cast iron mitre guide and push stick supplied as standard. An integrated NVR (No-Volt Release) switch provides an important safety feature for workshop environments.
The cast iron table surface measures 600mm x 800mm as standard, expandable via two supplied extensions to a total working area of 1500mm x 800mm — accommodating large panels, logs, and sheet materials with confidence. The maximum blade-to-fence distance is 1400mm and the table height stands at 860mm. A heavy-duty cabinet stand is included as standard for enhanced stability during operation; an optional wheel kit is available separately.
