The PCL APP570SET Prestige Air Hammer and De-Scaling Set delivers both hammer and needle-scaling action in a single kit, suited to automotive, workshop and industrial surface preparation tasks. The tool is built around a unique balanced design that gives the user excellent feel and controlled performance throughout extended use. A quick-change retainer allows the operator to switch between the pistol air hammer and the screw-on needle scaler attachment without tools, while the swivel inlet supports optimum airflow and reduces hose drag during operation. Reduced vibration is a noted characteristic of the Prestige series design. The 67 mm stroke mechanism drives the action, with a free speed of 2,900 rpm and an air consumption of 2.73 cfm (76.4 l/min). The tool accepts a 1/4 in air inlet and requires a minimum 3/8 in (10 mm) hose for adequate supply. Sound level is rated at 93.4 dBa and vibration at 7.25 m/s². Tool weight is 1.73 kg. The de-scaling attachment carries 19 three-millimetre needles, which are effective at delaminating rust from steel with minimal effort.
