An HVLP spray gun kit with a 50 litre compressor, for car refinishing and larger paint jobs.
HVLP (high volume, low pressure) guns need a high volume of air to aerosolise the paint, giving a fine spray and greater control of paint application. PCL's SG02P HVLP gravity gun has a precision engineered brass air cap and a stainless steel fluid nozzle and needle for a premium finish, with high transfer efficiency and lower material consumption. It has a 1.4 mm nozzle and 0.6 litre cup, reduces overspray, suits water based paints and works up to 43 psi (3 bar).
The gun uses 5.5 cfm (156 l/min), so it is paired with the CM2550D 50 litre compressor: a 2.5 HP direct drive unit delivering 8.2 cfm (232 l/min) at up to 8 bar on 230 V single phase. HVLP guns need more compressed air, ideally from a 50 to 100 litre compressor.
The HA5201 7.6 m coiled hose connects to the compressor through the ACA2746 adaptor, the AC21CF Airflow coupling goes on the other end, and an ACA2593 fits the gun. A spare ACA2593 is included for another tool.
