The Sealey SA355 Air Belt Sander is built specifically for those hard-to-reach jobs, with an articulated sanding arm in an aluminium housing that allows the belt to be worked into areas inaccessible to larger tools. The 20 x 520mm belt runs at a free speed of 18,150rpm at a recommended operating pressure of 90psi, consuming 15cfm of air via a 1/4"BSP inlet. Belt tracking control keeps the belt correctly aligned during use, while the heavy-duty nose roller handles demanding material removal. One-handed trigger operation keeps the operator in control, and the composite handle with integrated exhaust reduces both chilling on the hand and noise levels rated at 97dB(A) noise power and 86dB(A) noise pressure. The extra belt width also makes the SA355 a capable tool for welding preparation and finishing work. Replacement belts are readily available, and the tool is backed by a 3-year guarantee. Vibration is rated at 0.89m/s² with an uncertainty value of 0.58m/s².
