The Sealey SA653 is a midi-size 90º air die grinder designed for re-shaping, deburring, and smoothing off rough edges on castings, making it well suited to professional workshop use. The lightweight aluminium alloy housing is encased in a composite cover moulded directly around it, reducing the effects of chill on the operator's hands and providing added control during extended use. The air motor runs on quality bearings for smooth and powerful operation, spinning the 6mm collet at a free speed of 22,000rpm at 90psi operating pressure. Air consumption is a modest 3cfm via a 1/4" BSP air inlet. The 360° adjustable exhaust outlet keeps airflow directed away from the operator, and a safety trigger prevents inadvertent operation. At 160mm in length, the SA653 is compact enough for detailed work. Noise levels are rated at 95dB(A) sound power and 84dB(A) sound pressure, with vibration measured at 1.25m/s² (uncertainty 0.61m/s²). Backed by a 3-year guarantee.
