Compressed-air blowguns that restrict airflow or feel awkward in the hand slow down workshop tasks. The PCL BG7508 is a Turbo nozzle blowgun from the Ergo Extreme range, with an Rp 1/4 inlet, design-engineered in the UK for applications where increased airflow is required.
The Ergo Extreme range is constructed from durable Zytel Nylon, a material chosen to combine strength with a comfortable in-hand feel. The BG7508 features a Turbo nozzle configuration that enables additional air to be absorbed safely through the sides of the nozzle, and a newly designed air release valve built into the body, allowing the trigger and airflow to be feathered for precise control. The Ergo Extreme designation affords additional cushioning via a flexible rubber element over the standard Ergo configuration.
With a quoted airflow of 18.4 cfm (521 l/min) and a recorded sound level of 114 dBa, the BG7508 conforms to OSHA 1910.95 and OSHA STD 1-13.1 safety standards. Overall product dimensions are 310 mm (length) × 65 mm (height) × 25 mm (width), with a shipping weight of 0.213 kg. PCL note that the Ergo Extreme range replaces the previous 'best' blowgun range, building on the quality and performance for which PCL is known.
