Product Number: APM600
Cutting and grinding in confined spaces demands a tool compact enough to reach where conventional angle cutters cannot. The PCL APM600 is a palm-sized pneumatic mini angle cutter designed for 75 mm (3") discs with a 10 mm bore, built to access tight areas that larger tools cannot reach. PCL have manufactured air tools in Sheffield since 1938 and the APM600 is part of that continuing range.
The APM600 is fitted with an ergonomic rubber handle that provides a warm, comfortable grip during prolonged use. Its compact and lightweight construction — 0.4 kg and 145 mm in length — allows maximum operator control. A rear exhaust directs airflow away from the work area, and a high-power motor is specified for consistent performance across applications.
On the technical side, the APM600 runs at a free speed of 16,500 RPM and draws 1.9 cfm (53.8 l/min) of air. The air inlet is Rp 1/4 and the maximum hose size is 3/16 in (4.8 mm). Vibration is measured at 5.08 m/s² and the declared sound level is 81 dBa. These figures make it straightforward to assess compressor and hose compatibility before purchase.
