Exocet Gas Oil Supreme is an upgrade additive for gas oil to BS2869:A2, supplied here in the 200 litre drum pack. It is formulated to let modern diesel engines calibrated on EN590 DERV run on red diesel, and it suits both mineral diesel and biodiesel blends.
It raises the cetane number, which gives more pulling power, smoother delivery, less visible smoke and better combustion efficiency, and reduces the load on a DPF. It prevents deposits forming through the fuel delivery system, keeping injectors clean in high pressure common rail engines, preventing injector sticking and over-fuelling, holding the spray pattern and preventing nozzle coking in older engines. It adds back the lubricity lost to sulphur reduction, protecting fuel pumps and injectors from premature wear, and it disperses biodiesel precipitates that would otherwise agglomerate and block filters.
Dose at 1 litre of additive to 2,000 litres of fuel. Typical applications are agricultural and horticultural machinery, construction equipment, airport vehicles and fork lift trucks. Use it with each fuel delivery, or where an engine lacks power, misfires or runs rough, where excessive smoke is showing, or where the engine manufacturer recommends an additive.
This is the 200 litre drum pack, part XO1249GO-Drum. Also available in 1,000 litre IBC [XO1249GO-IBC], 50ml [XO1249GO-50ml] and 100ml [XO1249GO-100ml], and 5 further pack sizes.
