Exocet Diesel Defender is a liquid anti-theft marker dye for UK non-rebated fuel, supplied here in the 1 litre pack. It is a blue dye that colours white diesel green, so stored fuel is visibly marked and identifiable.
Since April 2022 many businesses can no longer use rebated fuel, so stored white diesel now looks identical to fuel bought for personal use and is at higher risk of theft. Diesel Defender marks it visibly. It contains Dyeguard 673KNF technology, which has been notified to HMRC with a technical report of compliance to Regulation 14(3) of the Hydrocarbon Oil (Marking) Regulations 2002. It causes no interference with statutory markers, has a chromatic profile distinct from them, will not give false positives on roadside tests, and is permitted for use in non-rebated UK DERV.
Dose at 200ml to 2,000 litres of fuel, with each delivery. Typical applications are white diesel in construction equipment, cooling and heating units in road and rail transport, airport vehicles, forklift trucks, electricity generation and commercial premises heating. Tank stickers can be supplied on request to advertise that the fuel has been dyed.
