A. BG Frigi-Quiet for R-134a is an automotive A/C compressor lubricant additive specifically for R-134a, R-22 and CO2 refrigerant systems. Ensures quieter compressor operation, prolongs compressor life, and reduces wear.
A. NO — DIFFERENT products. 7018E is for R-134a systems (older refrigerant, used pre-2017 in most vehicles). 7028 is for R-1234yf systems (newer refrigerant, used in most vehicles post-2017). Check vehicle refrigerant before purchase.
A. Check the A/C service label under the bonnet — it states the refrigerant type. R-134a was standard pre-2017; R-1234yf is standard on most vehicles from 2017 onwards. Mixing additives between refrigerants is not advised.
