BG Frigi-Quiet® for R-1234yf (7028, 237ml) ensures quieter, cooler compressor operation and prolongs compressor life in vehicles equipped with R-1234yf refrigerant air conditioning systems. It is also compatible with R-134a systems, making it suitable for both modern and older vehicle air conditioning applications.
The A/C compressor is one of the most vulnerable components in the air conditioning system. Without adequate lubrication, compressor wear leads to noise, reduced cooling efficiency and eventual failure. BG Frigi-Quiet® replenishes the lubricant in the A/C system, reducing compressor operating noise and protecting against wear that leads to premature failure. It is particularly useful after refrigerant recharges, where lubricant levels may have been reduced.
Compatible with R-1234yf and R-134a refrigerant systems. Please confirm compatibility with your vehicle's A/C system before use.

A. BG Frigi-Quiet for R-1234yf is an automotive A/C compressor lubricant additive specifically for R-1234yf and R-134a refrigerant systems. Ensures quieter compressor operation, prolongs compressor life, and reduces wear.
A. NO — DIFFERENT products. 7028 is for R-1234yf systems (newer refrigerant, most vehicles post-2017). 7018E is for R-134a systems only (older refrigerant). Check vehicle refrigerant label before purchase.
A. Check the A/C service label under the bonnet — it states the refrigerant type. R-1234yf is standard on most vehicles from 2017 onwards. R-134a was standard pre-2017.
A. Via the BG Mechanical Additive Injector Tool — added to the A/C system during service. Add 59ml when oil is required. Not a DIY product — requires A/C service equipment.
