A. BG DFC Plus HP provides high-pressure, high-temperature diesel fuel-system protection. It prevents soot-black fuel byproducts, keeps injectors clean, reduces exhaust smoke, prevents fuel gelling, corrects nozzle fouling, and improves lubricity.
A. At a treat ratio of 946ml per 950 litres of diesel. For maximum benefit, treat fuel before refuelling and before fuel gelling temperatures are reached. Do not store at temperatures below –42°C.
A. BG DFC is the standard fuel-conditioner and lubricity product. BG DFC Plus HP adds higher-pressure/higher-temperature protection and anti-gel performance — for severe-duty, cold-climate or stressed diesel applications.
A. Yes — anti-gel and cold-temperature performance are part of its formulation. Apply before temperatures drop below freezing. For extreme cold, see also BG DFC Plus HP Extra Cold Weather (25632E).
A. Yes. BG DFC Plus HP is safe for diesel particulate filters, catalytic converters and oxygen sensors. Complies with low-sulphur diesel content requirements. Contains no alcohol.
A. Yes. BG DFC Plus HP is formulated to prevent soot-black fuel byproducts and reduce exhaust smoke — particularly relevant for older diesels or those operating under high-load conditions producing visible exhaust.
A. Yes. It improves lubricity, which is particularly important for low-sulphur diesel fuels that have reduced inherent lubricity and can otherwise contribute to injector and pump wear.
