HyperDrive KX Extended Life Antifreeze Concentrate (Red) is a monoethylene glycol (MEG) based coolant concentrate built on Organic Additive Technology (OAT). It is suitable for year-round use in all types of petrol and diesel engines manufactured in Europe and contains no mineral additives — the formulation is nitrite, amine, phosphate and silicate (NAPS) free.
The OAT additive package supports corrosion protection across modern mixed-metal cooling systems, extended drain intervals versus traditional silicate-based coolants, and compatibility with rubber hoses, gaskets and seals used in modern engine cooling systems.
Approvals and performance levels include ASTM D3306 (I); ASTM D4656; ASTM D4985; BS 6580:2010; SAE J 1034; and NATO S-759.
The product is recommended for use where the following manufacturer standards are required: Cummins CES 14603; DAF 74002; Ford WSS-M97B44-D; GM 6277M; MAN 324 SNF; Mercedes-Benz 325.3; Renault 41-01-001; VW TL 774 D; VW TL 774 F; and Volvo VCS.
When diluted in water, the product protects against freezing down to -40°C at 1:1 dilution ratio.
