Variations
The Haztec 8-7050-ST is a complete sound tube speaker kit from the 7000 Series: a 50W high output 4 Ohm compact speaker driver combined with a metal sound tube, flexible hose and adjustable brackets in one part.
Sound tube speakers solve the packaging problem on vehicles where a conventional box speaker will not fit. The compact driver measures roughly 90 x 100 x 100mm, and the tube-and-hose arrangement lets the sound outlet be routed through tight bumper and engine bay spaces while the driver sits where there is room. The hose can be cut to the required length during installation.
The 7000 Series is Haztec's premium compact speaker range - robust, powerful units with high output neodymium drivers, weatherproof and fully suitable for exterior use. Haztec siren amplifiers in this family drive one or two compatible speakers; the 8-7050-ST appears on Haztec's compatible speaker lists alongside the 8-7050-RC and 8-7050-SC compact box formats.
Note that true fanfare and mixed tones require two loudspeakers, so specify a pair if your siren programme uses those tones. If you only need the tube and hose to service an existing installation, see the 8-7000-ST which excludes the driver.
