Variations
The Haztec 8-8000-ST is a metal sound tube assembly for Haztec 8-8000 series siren speakers, supplied without the speaker driver. It provides the tube body used in compact sound-tube installations where a conventional box speaker cannot be accommodated.
As with Haztec's other sound tube parts, the driver mounts to the tube and the outlet can be positioned within confined bumper or engine bay spaces. This listing is the tube assembly only, for building up a new installation or replacing a damaged tube on an existing one.
The tube format also protects output level in wash-down and off-road environments, since the metal body stands up to conditions that would damage a paper-cone box speaker enclosure.
