Variations
The Haztec 8-7142-SC is a 50W compact high output 4 Ohm speaker from the 7000 Series Premium range, supplied with a choice of black or white cowl.
The 7000 Series is built around high output neodymium drivers in robust, compact housings. The speakers are weatherproof and fully suitable for exterior use - Haztec specifically cites motorcycle applications - which is why this family appears across emergency, escort and specialist vehicle installations where the speaker is exposed to the elements.
Within the range, the 8-7142-SC sits alongside the ultra compact 8-7050-RC and 8-7050-SC formats and the T-type cast metal versions built for maximum resilience. The cowl colour option lets the speaker blend with white motorcycle fairings or dark bodywork rather than standing out.
Pair it with a Haztec siren amplifier from the compatible list - amplifiers in this family drive one or two speakers, and true fanfare and mixed tones require two loudspeakers. Speaker rating must be at least equal to the amplifier's maximum output, so a 50W speaker suits amplifiers up to 50W per channel.
