The Laserliner CondenseSpot Plus Infrared Thermometer (082.046E) is designed specifically to locate these building defects by simultaneously measuring surface temperature, ambient temperature, relative humidity, and dew point temperature, with dedicated thermal bridge and wall moisture warning modes that alert the user when conditions are conducive to condensation. The infrared measurement system allows temperature readings to be taken in difficult-to-reach places and hazardous measuring zones without direct contact with the surface. A laser focusing aid assists with precise targeting. Auto-hold and alarm functions support single-handed operation, while the multi-function display presents all measured values simultaneously for efficient on-site assessment. The instrument covers an infrared temperature measuring range of -40°C to 365°C and an ambient temperature range of -20°C to 65°C, with ambient accuracy of ±1°C between 0°C and 50°C. Relative humidity is measured across a range of 1% to 99% (±3% accuracy between 20% and 80%), and dew point temperature across -50°C to 50°C. The adjustable emissions level extends suitability across a variety of surface materials. The device is powered by two 1.5V LR6 (AA) batteries, which are supplied. The housing is largely constructed from recycled material, contributing to sustainability objectives.
