The Laserliner 082.042A ThermoSpot Plus Infrared Thermometer addresses this challenge by delivering non-contact infrared temperature measurement across a wide operating range of -38°C to 600°C, with a resolution of 0.1°C, making it suitable for both low-temperature inspection and high-heat industrial applications. Targeting precision is provided by an 8-point laser circle that delineates the inspection area clearly, supported by 12:1 optics — meaning a measurement spot of 1 metre diameter at a distance of 12 metres. This allows the instrument to be used effectively in hard-to-reach locations without compromising accuracy. The MAX HOLD function captures and retains peak temperature readings for review after measurement. The emission coefficient is fully adjustable from 0.01 to 1.00, enabling accurate readings across a broad range of surface materials and finishes. The instrument carries Laser Class 2 certification (less than 1 mW, per EN 60825-1:2014/A11:2021 and EN 50689:2021). Auto-hold functionality is included as standard. The unit is housed in a rubber casing that provides impact protection during workshop and site use. Dimensions are 125 mm x 158 mm x 46 mm and the instrument weighs 210 g including batteries. Supplied complete with 2 x 1.5V LR03 (AAA) batteries and a belt holster.
