Variations
Moisture carried down a main air line ends up in every tool, spray gun and coupling it feeds. The Dropout PDO600S stops it at source on a 3/4 inch line, with 3/4 BSPT ports and a maximum flow of 900 l/min (31.8 cfm) in a sealed Grade 304 stainless steel body.
Dropout's patented separator removes 99.9999% of liquid water and oil and 99% of solid particulates down to 1 micron. There is no element to replace and no mains power to connect, and because nothing can clog, the pressure drop stays the same for the life of the unit. It recovers instantly when demand pulses or stops and starts.
Rated to 15 bar (217 psi) and ATEX marked Ex II 2G IIC T6 Gb, the PDO600S is supplied with a wall bracket and a manual drain valve. Add the Dropout PDOAD128 auto-drain to clear collected liquid automatically.
PCL recommends Dropout for air supplies with a high water content, and refinishers often choose it in place of a dryer. For the same port size in aluminium, see the PDO600A; for higher flow on 3/4 ports, the stainless PDO900S handles 1,350 l/min.
The stainless range also covers PDO60S (1/4), PDO300S (1/2), PDO1500S and PDO2000S (1 inch).
