Product Number: SC21CM05-PK5
This pack contains five identical PCL SC21CM05 couplings, supplied together to fit out several airline outlets or keep spares on the shelf in one order.
Worn or incompatible couplings are a common cause of air loss and unsafe disconnections on workshop airlines. The PCL SC21CM05 is a Safeflow safety coupling with a male R 1/4 thread, supplied display packed and manufactured in Sheffield since 1938 as part of the HORNGROUP family of brands. The Safeflow range builds on PCL's established Airflow coupling design with a two-stage self-venting release mechanism. The first press decompresses the line without disconnecting; the second press releases the nipple. This sequence eliminates hose whip — a recognised hazard when disconnecting pressurised airlines — and the coupling is manufactured in accordance with ISO 4414. The design is patented, and the robust steel construction carries a corrosion-resistant finish suited to continuous workshop use. The SC21CM05 fits the UK Standard PCL adaptor profile, making it compatible with most existing compressed-air equipment on the Airflow coupling footprint. Maximum working pressure is 14 bar. Flow capacity across the Safeflow range is stated at 1210 l/min.
