On pumps, washdown plant and boats, the clip is the first metal part to rust - unless every component of it is stainless.
Sized to adjust between 13-20mm, the HGS20RP carries the construction details Hi-Grip is specified for - rolled screw threads on a cold-headed, work-hardened hex head, fully rounded band edges, and a published tightening torque of 3.0 Nm (26 lb-in) for this size band. The range is made to exceed BS5315 and holds the BSI Kitemark and NATO approval.
Marine-quality 304 stainless in every part, salt mist tested and Lloyd's Register Type Approved, this is the clip for joints that live wet - on deck, in bilges, on pumps and around treatment plant. Size from the fitted outside diameter of the hose, tighten in stages to the recommended torque, and recheck after high-vibration service. The 10-pack stocks the spares locker properly.

A. This size spans 13-20mm of fitted hose outside diameter. Measure the hose over its fitting, not the bare bore - anywhere inside 13-20mm and the HGS20RP is the right clip. One JCS size covers a span that would take two fixed nut-and-bolt clamps. In imperial terms that is roughly 1/2 to 13/16 in, covering common 5/8 and 3/4 in hose sizes.
A. JCS recommends 3.0 Nm (26 lb-in) for this size. Position the clip centrally over the hose barb and tighten incrementally to that torque - over-tightening can damage the hose.
