When a coolant or air line starts seeping where it meets the fitting, the fix is rarely a new hose - it is a clip that holds its clamping force.
Worm drive clips seal by drawing the band evenly through a captive screw housing, and the HGZ140BG adds the JCS details that make that reliable - a 110-140mm adjustment span, a cold-headed, work-hardened hex screw with rolled threads that will not round off, and fully rounded band edges. Recommended tightening torque for this size is 6.0 Nm (54 lb-in). Manufactured to exceed BS5315, Kitemarked and NATO approved.
This 10-pack format is the trade quantity - workshop stores, service vans and maintenance teams fitting the same sizes repeatedly. The specification is unchanged: heavily electro zinc plated and passivated mild steel tested to EN9227, plated after cutting so the band edges are coated, intended for non-corrosive domestic, automotive and industrial duty.
Also available - the same clip as a bulk pack (HGZ140BP); the 90-120mm size (HGZ120BG); the 130-160mm size (HGZ160BG); a 304 stainless version in the same size and pack (HGS140BG).

A. It adjusts between 110-140mm. Measure the outside diameter of your hose when fitted over its pipe or fitting - if that measurement falls within 110-140mm, this clip fits. JCS clips offer a larger adjustment range per size than typical nut-and-bolt clamps. In imperial terms that is roughly 4 5/16 to 5 1/2 in, covering common 4 1/2 and 5 in hose sizes.
A. For this size band JCS publishes a recommended torque of 6.0 Nm (54 lb-in). Work up to it gradually with the clip seated centrally on the barb; going past it risks damaging the hose rather than improving the seal.
A. No - JCS itself cautions that zinc-coated clamps can quickly corrode or seize around salt water. The marine specification is Hi-Grip Stainless: 18/8 304 stainless throughout, with Lloyd's Register Type Approval.
