Where vibration isolation takes priority over restraint, the TM229-40-40 turret mount delivers a 40 Shore A soft-grade rubber-to-metal bonded solution for lighter, compact or sensitive installations operating under low loads. With a maximum load rating of 5 kg and a maximum deflection of 2.7 mm, this soft grade offers the greatest movement under load of the turret mount range, allowing lower-frequency vibrations to be absorbed before they reach instruments, electronics or other sensitive equipment. Rubber-to-metal bonded construction underpins the mount's performance, ensuring the elastomeric element remains securely integrated under repeated dynamic loading. The soft 40 Shore A compound is specifically suited to applications where the priority is isolating delicate or lightweight equipment from low-amplitude, low-frequency vibration rather than managing high shock loads or providing rigid restraint. This grade produces greater deflection per unit of load than harder variants, which is the defining characteristic for sensitive-equipment installations. Dimensionally, the mount measures 62 mm (A) × 49.2 mm (B) with a 38 mm (C) height, featuring M8 threaded inserts (I) and additional key dimensions of D 4.8 mm, E 4.8 mm, F 29.5 mm, G 5.5 mm, and H 35.3 mm. It is classified as Type A geometry.
