Engineered for heavy-load suspension and shock absorption duties, the Hollow Rubber Spring HRS225 carries a nominal static load of 3,500 kg as a primary suspension spring and accepts up to 10,600 kg as a continuous static assister spring. In triple or rectangular configurations, maximum load capacity reaches 15,900 kg, with a deflection at maximum load of 45 mm, making this the highest-capacity unit in the hollow rubber spring range. Constructed with rubber-to-metal bonded technology, the HRS225 delivers the progressive stiffness characteristic of the hollow rubber spring family: as deflection increases, spring rate rises proportionally, providing controlled resistance under the severe dynamic loads typical of heavy commercial vehicles, off-road plant, and demanding trailer applications. The maintenance-free construction eliminates the lubrication and corrosion concerns associated with metal coil springs, and the inherent damping of the rubber compound reduces transmitted vibration energy rather than simply containing it. The HRS225 is suited to primary and secondary suspension roles in construction and off-highway equipment, agricultural machinery, military and defence vehicles, and heavy-duty commercial trailers, wherever high fatigue life and load capacity must be combined with operator comfort and protection of surrounding structures. The spring may be loaded in compression, shear, or a combination of both. For specialist environments, oil-resistant and high-temperature rubber compounds, as well as stainless steel metalwork, are available on request. This spring forms part of a broader hollow rubber spring range.
