A. This buffer has a maximum load capacity of 4,920 kg and a deflection of 7.50 mm, making it the highest load, lowest deflection option in the 100x30mm Female Flat Buffer Shore grade range.
A. At 70 Shore A, this is the firmest grade available for the 100x30mm Female Flat geometry. Harder grades carry higher loads with less movement, making this grade appropriate for heavy-duty shock and impact applications where the component must be held firmly rather than allowed significant deflection.
A. The 70 Shore A grade is well matched to heavy construction and off-highway equipment, agricultural machinery subject to hard-impact cycles, commercial vehicle bump-stop applications, industrial machinery requiring end-stop restraint, and power generation plant operating under high static load. Industries served include construction, agriculture, marine, railway and mass transit, automotive, and military and defence.
A. The buffer uses rubber-to-metal bonded construction. The vulcanised rubber element absorbs and dissipates impact energy under compressive, shear, or combined loading, reducing transmitted forces to surrounding structures and improving machinery lifespan.
A. Yes. The 100x30mm M16 diameter is also available in 45 Shore A (10030FFB16-45) and 60 Shore A (10030FFB16-60) for applications requiring greater deflection or isolation at lower loads. Other sizes in the Female Flat Buffer family include 100x100mm (100100FFB16), 100x40mm (10040FFB16), 100x50mm (10050FFB16), 100x55mm (10055FFB16), 100x60mm (10060FFB16), and 15x10mm M4 (1510FFB04).
A. Yes. Stainless steel metalwork and oil-resistant or high-temperature rubbers are available on request, along with additional and custom sizes.
