Threaded M8 x 15 mm studs project from both faces, enabling direct bolt-through installation in typical general-machinery mounting points. At 70 Shore A, this is the firmest grade in the 30 x 20 mm series, carrying a maximum load of 51.0 kg with a minimal deflection of just 1.6 mm, figures that reflect its role where positional stability and shock absorption take precedence over maximum isolation travel. Rubber-to-metal bonded construction holds the stud and rubber element securely in service, whilst the low-deflection characteristic means the mounted assembly moves very little under rated load. This grade is well suited to applications where heavier items must be restrained rather than merely isolated, generator sets operating under cyclic combustion load, industrial machinery subject to impact, exhaust mountings on diesel engines experiencing sustained vibration, and similar demanding duties. The 70 Shore A element is also appropriate where surrounding structures require protection from transmitted shock. The bobbin mount family as a whole spans a weight range of approximately 1 kg to 2,000 kg per mounting and can be loaded in shear, compression, or a combination of both. Custom options, including stainless steel hardware and oil-resistant or high-temperature rubber compounds. Are available on request, extending the range into marine, agricultural, and construction and off-highway applications.
