The rubber-to-metal bonded construction combines a firm 70 Shore A compound with steel inserts, delivering the highest load-bearing capacity and least deflection of the 30 x 15 mm bobbin range. At 1.1 mm deflection, this grade prioritises restraint and positional stability over isolation travel, making it the correct selection where a mount must limit movement as much as it attenuates vibration. The mount may be loaded in shear, compression, or a combination of both. Typical applications for this firm grade include diesel engine mountings, generator set installations, industrial machinery and equipment, and exhaust mounting systems where heavier component mass and operational shock demand a mount that holds firm. It is equally well suited to construction and off-highway plant, agricultural machinery, power generation equipment, and marine installations.
