This medium-grade rubber-to-metal bonded mount sits at the lighter end of the 40mm bobbin range, making it a considered choice for compact installations and equipment where load demands are moderate and a measured degree of movement is desirable alongside reliable support. Constructed with rubber-to-metal bonded technology, the 60 Shore A compound delivers a working balance between compliance and rigidity. At this hardness, the mount accepts vibration inputs in shear, compression or a combination of both, distributing dynamic forces without the pronounced deflection associated with softer grades or the stiffness that limits isolation in harder variants. This makes it well suited to machinery where both isolation performance and positional stability are required simultaneously. Female Female Bobbins, also referred to as Type C Bobbins or Type 3 Bobbins are a low cost Anti Vibration Mount, suitable for reducing vibration & shock and a vast array of different applications. They should be used in either Shear or Compression or in a combination, however like all bobbins, not put into tension. Bobbins are available with many different thread Sizes, ranging from M3-M24 and in various lengths. Additional Bobbin Mounts sizes are available on request and can be produced in various grades of Stainless Steel and Oil & High Temperature resistant rubbers.
