Soft at 45 Shore A, this Male-Male Bobbin Mount (2020MM18-45) measures 20 mm diameter by 20 mm height with M6 x 18 mm threaded studs, and is engineered to deliver maximum vibration isolation where load is light and movement under load is the priority. With a maximum load rating of 7.0 kg and a deflection of 1.6 mm, it is ideally suited to lighter, compact or sensitive installations where isolating low-frequency vibration matters more than restricting movement. The rubber-to-metal bonded construction uses the male-male stud configuration, allowing the mount to operate in shear, compression or a combination of both. At 45 Shore A, the softer rubber compound yields greater deflection relative to load, which translates directly into superior isolation performance at the lower end of the load scale, protecting sensitive instruments, small generators, compact air-conditioning units and similar equipment from the vibration and shock that reduce service life and operator comfort. Applications span a broad range of industries including agriculture, power generation, marine, railway and mass transit, automotive, and construction and off-highway plant.
