Where sensitive or lightly loaded assemblies demand maximum isolation, this 70 Shore A mount is built instead for applications that require a part to be held firmly under load and restrained against shock or impact without significant give. The rubber-to-metal bonded construction pairs an M4 stud thread on both ends with a 70 Shore A natural rubber element. At this hardness grade, the rubber resists deformation under heavier compressive or shear forces, making it well suited to securing components that experience sudden impacts, repetitive shock loads, or where positional rigidity matters as much as vibration attenuation. The mount may be loaded in shear, compression, or a combination of both, giving installation engineers flexibility in orientation. Typical applications for this grade and size include exhaust system brackets, small generator sets, agricultural and off-highway ancillary equipment, marine auxiliary fittings, and industrial machinery where a lightweight but firmly located anti-vibration solution is needed.
