The 70 Shore A rubber compound delivers high resistance to movement under shock and impact loading. Rubber-to-metal bonded construction ensures the elastomeric element remains positively located throughout service life. The female-female thread configuration allows direct in-line installation between two threaded fixings without additional adaptors. As with all mounts in this family, the rubber may be loaded in shear, compression or a combination of both. This grade is suited to applications where dynamic loads or impact events must be absorbed without significant displacement, exhaust mountings, generator sets, diesel engines, industrial machinery, and equipment subject to recurring shock. Across the broader family, softer grades of 45 Shore A and 60 Shore A are available where greater deflection and lower-load vibration isolation are the priority; the 70 Shore A grade occupies the firm end of the range. Custom configurations in stainless steel metalwork or oil-resistant and high-temperature rubbers are available on request.
