Balancing effective vibration isolation with adequate load-bearing support, this 25 x 20 mm male-male bobbin mount in 60 Shore A rubber is sized for lighter, compact or sensitive installations where a firm grip on both attenuation and structural control is required. With a maximum load rating of 29.0 kg and a deflection figure of 1.6 mm, it occupies the middle ground of the range, neither as compliant as the softer 45 Shore grade nor as stiff as harder grades. Making it a versatile option for moderate-duty applications across a broad spread of equipment types. The rubber-to-metal bonded construction combines an M8 x 20 mm stud on each face with a 25 mm diameter, 20 mm height rubber element. This geometry accepts loading in shear, compression or a combination of both, giving mounting engineers flexibility in how the mount is oriented relative to the primary excitation direction. The medium hardness grade provides a calibrated compromise: enough lateral compliance to attenuate mechanical vibration and protect surrounding structures, whilst limiting excessive movement under operational loads. Suited to instruments, compact industrial machinery and equipment, air-conditioning units and generator sets operating within lighter load envelopes, the 60 Shore A grade is equally appropriate where operator comfort is a priority and where transmitted vibration must be reduced without sacrificing positional stability. The rubber-to-metal bond improves machinery lifespan by absorbing shock and reducing fatigue on connected components. Custom options including oil-resistant and high-temperature rubbers, stainless steel metalwork, and additional sizes are available on request.
