With male thread d1 M8 x 20 on the stud side and female thread d2 M8 on the tapped end, this 60 Shore A medium-hardness mount is suited to installations where neither excessive movement nor rigid restraint is acceptable, a practical middle-ground solution for compact or load-sensitive equipment. Rubber-to-metal bonded construction gives this mount its load-bearing integrity while the 60 Shore A rubber element provides measured deflection across shear, compression, or combined loading modes. At this hardness grade, the balance between vibration isolation and positional control is well matched to machinery that demands consistent damping without the compliance of softer grades. Custom configurations, including oil-resistant or high-temperature rubbers and stainless steel metalwork. Are available on request for demanding service environments. Male Female Bobbin Mounts referred to as Type B Bobbin or Type 2 Bobbins. They are a low-cost solution to reducing vibration & shock and are used in applications where a bolt fixing is required. Many additional sizes are also offered, and the Bobbins can also be produced in Stainless Steel and Oil Resistant & High Temperature rubber compounds.
