Balancing isolation performance with load-bearing capability, the Female-Female Bobbin Mount 3030FF08-60 is a 30 x 30 mm rubber-to-metal bonded anti-vibration mount with M8 female threads at both ends and a 60 Shore A rubber hardness grade, built to give a measured middle ground between deflection and support across a broad range of lighter compact machinery installations. At this medium hardness, the mount carries a maximum load of 30.0 kg with a deflection of 2.6 mm, making it well suited to applications where neither maximum isolation nor maximum stiffness is the priority, but a reliable, controlled response to vibration and shock across both shear and compression loading directions is required. Constructed using rubber-to-metal bonded technology, this mount may be loaded in shear, compression, or a combination of both, giving engineers and workshop professionals the flexibility to orient it to suit the installation. The 60 Shore A grade occupies the general-purpose band of the Shore A spectrum: softer grades offer greater deflection and better isolation at lower loads, while harder grades carry higher loads with less movement. This medium grade is the practical choice for installations where vibration damping and structural support must coexist. Custom options, including stainless steel metalwork and oil-resistant or high-temperature rubbers. Are available on request. Typical applications for this size and grade include instrument mountings, air-conditioning units, exhaust mountings, diesel engines, generator sets, and general industrial machinery and equipment. Industries served include agriculture, power generation, marine, automotive, and construction and off-highway sectors.
Female Female Bobbins, also referred to as Type C Bobbins or Type 3 Bobbins are a low cost Anti Vibration Mount, suitable for reducing vibration & shock and a vast array of different applications. They should be used in either Shear or Compression or in a combination, however like all bobbins, not put into tension. Bobbins are available with many different thread Sizes, ranging from M3-M24 and in various lengths. Additional Bobbin Mounts sizes are available on request and can be produced in various grades of Stainless Steel and Oil & High Temperature resistant rubbers.
