Variations
The CTM-R2 is a compact captive transit mount rated to 110 kg per point. It comes from AV Industrial Products and is built for equipment that has to survive being moved as well as run in place. Its integral overload stop controls the movement of mounted equipment during transit, and the captive, failsafe arrangement keeps shock loads under control on mobile plant.
The rubber element works in shear compression, delivering vibration reduction of up to 95% in all axes, while the metal top cap shields the rubber from oil and fuel contamination. The mount measures 64 mm across the flange (A) with a 34 mm flange height (B), carries an M12 fixing stud, and mounts through 9.5 mm diameter holes at 76 mm centres; free length is 93 mm on a 2.5 mm base plate.
A lighter-rated version of the same body is available as the CTM-R3 (70 kg). Both suit generating sets, diesel and marine engines, pumps, motors, fans and compressors in mobile or static installations.
