The 6-point contact geometry distributes load evenly across fastener flats, reducing the risk of rounding under impact loads. The chemical blacking process provides a layer of corrosion resistance suited to workshop environments where tools are exposed to moisture, oils and general contamination. This socket accepts a 1/2-inch square drive and is sized at 30mm, making it appropriate for heavy-duty fastening and removal tasks across automotive, workshop and industrial applications.
