The Draper HI-TORQ® 6 Point Impact Socket (SKU 5105) is forged from chrome molybdenum steel, then hardened, tempered, and chemically blacked to deliver both the strength required for impact use and reliable corrosion protection. The 6-point socket geometry provides positive engagement across the full flat faces of the fastener, reducing the risk of rounding under load. Designed for use with air, electric, or manual impact wrenches fitted with a 1" square drive, the socket measures 24mm across the fastener engagement and is supplied complete with a pin and ring retainer to secure it to the drive. This socket is an Expert Quality item, packed in a polythene bag with barcode for straightforward identification and storage. The safety note from Draper is clear: only impact-rated sockets and accessories must be used with air or electric powered wrenches. Never use standard silver chrome vanadium steel sockets with impact tools, as these can shatter and cause personal injury.
