The Draper HI-TORQ® 6 Point Impact Socket (SKU 5108) is forged from chrome molybdenum steel that has been hardened, tempered, and chemically blacked, delivering robust resistance to the shock forces generated by pneumatic and electric impact wrenches. The 6-point socket geometry provides full-face engagement across the fastener flat, reducing the risk of rounding under high torque. A black phosphate finish provides additional corrosion protection suited to demanding workshop environments. Designed for use with a 1-inch square drive, this socket accepts a 27 mm fastener and is compatible with air, electric, or manual impact wrenches. It is supplied complete with a pin and ring retaining assembly to secure the socket on the drive. Packed in a polythene bag with barcode for straightforward stock management. Note: only dedicated impact sockets and accessories should be used with air or electric powered wrenches. Never use silver chrome vanadium steel sockets, which can shatter and cause personal injury.
