High-torque fastener work demands sockets that withstand repeated impact loading without deforming or cracking. The Draper HI-TORQ® 6-point deep impact socket set addresses this by using components forged from chrome vanadium steel that has been correctly hardened and tempered, giving the material the toughness required for sustained use with impact drivers and wrenches. Each socket features a 6-point profile that maximises contact with fastener flats, reducing the risk of rounding under load. A black phosphate finish is applied across the set to provide corrosion protection during workshop use and storage. The deep profile of the sockets allows them to reach fasteners on extended studs and threaded rods that standard-depth sockets cannot access. The 19-piece set contains 16 Draper HI-TORQ® 6-point deep impact sockets on a 1/2" Sq. Dr., covering metric sizes from 8 mm through to 24 mm: 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 mm. Alongside the sockets, the set includes a 125 mm and a 250 mm 1/2" Sq. Dr. impact extension, plus a 70 mm 1/4" hex to 1/2" Sq. Dr. adaptor for use with hex-drive tools. All components are supplied in a sturdy blow moulded case that keeps the set organised and protects it during transport and storage.
