Dr., 41mm) is forged from chrome molybdenum steel that has been hardened, tempered, and chemically blacked, providing the material strength and corrosion resistance required for sustained use with air, electric, or manual impact wrenches. The 6-point socket geometry concentrates drive force squarely on the flats of the fastener reducing the risk of rounding under the high torque loads generated by impact wrenches. The black phosphate finish delivers an additional layer of corrosion protection suited to workshop and industrial environments. The socket is supplied complete with a pin and ring retaining system ensuring positive retention on the drive square during use. Compatibility extends to air electric and manual impact wrenches fitted with a 3/4"" square drive. Each socket is individually packed in a polythene bag with barcode for straightforward inventory management in a trade or workshop setting. Only impact-rated sockets and accessories should be used with air or electric powered wrenches. Chrome vanadium steel sockets must never be substituted as they can shatter under impact loading and cause serious personal injury.
