The Draper Hi-TORQ® Deep Impact Socket addresses this need directly, with a 27mm socket forged from hardened chrome molybdenum steel for strength and durability under repeated impact loads. The 6-point Hi-TORQ® profile is designed for use with electric or pneumatic impact wrenches operating on a 3/4"" square drive. The deep reach configuration allows access to fasteners that standard-depth sockets cannot engage making it well suited to a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks. A black phosphate finish provides corrosion protection in workshop environments where moisture and contaminants are present. Each socket is supplied with a ring and pin for secure retention on the drive square reducing the risk of socket separation during high-torque operation. The socket is chemically blackened consistent with the black phosphate corrosion-protection treatment. Supplied as a single 27mm socket complete with ring and pin retaining hardware. Suitable for automotive maintenance applications where confirmation of the correct socket size should be made by reference to the vehicle's user manual or a Haynes manual.
