The Draper Hi-TORQ® Deep Impact Socket is forged from hardened chrome molybdenum steel and features a black phosphate finish that provides corrosion protection in workshop environments where exposure to oils, moisture, and chemicals is routine. The 6-point Draper Hi-TORQ® socket geometry delivers positive engagement on fastener flats reducing the risk of rounding under load. The deep profile allows the socket to seat fully over extended or protruding studs bolts and fastener heads that a standard-depth socket cannot reach. Designed for use with 3/4"" square drive electric or pneumatic impact wrenches this socket is supplied complete with a ring and pin for secure retention on the drive tool. This socket is part of a selection of automotive sockets suitable for a variety of maintenance tasks on vehicles. As with all socket selection for automotive work it is advisable to refer to the vehicle user manual or a Haynes manual to confirm the correct socket size for the application.
